Higher Ground Makes EU Finals of Climate Adaptation Business Challenge

Our Webinar: Climate adaptation - urgencies and opportunities for business took place on Monday 22 October 2012.

Climate adaptation - urgencies and opportunities for business

Adapting to climate change impacts is unfolding as a formidable global challenge. While the challenges can be daunting, business can gain competitive advantage by adapting to both direct and indirect climate risks and harnessing arising business opportunities. Especially companies with multi-national markets and supply chains in developing countries will face greater strategic complexities, but at the same time a host of opportunities may emerge to competitively differentiate their business. In particular, identifying, prioritizing, and financing climate adaptation becomes a growing imperative and challenge, but also an opportunity.
